NEXT MEETING FEBRUARY 15, 2010

The Reunion Committee will be meeting on February 15, (President's Day)@ 1pm. We will meet at Joe Del Broccolo's house.

Carole Patanjo will be entertaining us with selections from her favorite operas!

Pam Rae will be changing her last name, and Joe Del Broccolo needs directions to the meeting.

MORE TREE

An advisor from the middle school at Bellport (Veronica Bradley) contacted me today. We discussed what day and time to do the tree planting, and I said tentatively that Saturday at 12 noon. The 8th grade class would like to partake in the event and I think that would be very nice! Ms. Bradley also said she would look into getting a donation for the tree, and I mentioned that I would like the tree to be on the Station Road side of the school, since that was where the original high school was.

PLANTING THE TREE FOR LIFE!

The Bellport Middle School vice-principle contacted me to advise me that we may plant our memorial tree! It will be planned for the weekend of the main event. A student advisor will be in touch with me in a short while to work out the details. They would like the student council to be part of the ceremony. I was similarly advised that we may put a marker made by Pam Brin to note the tree and memorial.
